< Previous St. Clair Health recently opened its newest health care facility to ensure patients never have to go far to receive the health care they deserve. Located on Steubenville Pike next to Eat’n Park, the Robinson Township Multispecialty Suite is the latest in St. Clair’s efforts to bring coordinated multispecialty care and one-stop outpatient services to residents of the suburban areas south and west of Pittsburgh. The Multispecialty Suite was inspired by the idea of meeting patients where they are and going directly into the community in service of their health care needs. Securing a space in the heart of Robinson Township enabled St. Clair Health to bring together several St. Clair Medical Group physicians with offices in the area to provide integrated patient care in a single space, close to home. According to Beth Pittman, Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, St. Clair Medical Group, “We are continuously striving to match the health care needs of our patients and the types of health care we provide. This allows us to pair patients with the best physicians for their personal care.” The Multispecialty Suite is an intimate setting where doctors know patients by name and build personalized treatment plans. It includes nearly 20 exam rooms and supplementary spaces to accommodate primary care, OB/GYN, and other specialty physicians from the growing St. Clair Medical Group network. Plus, the entire facility is furnished with state-of-the-art equipment and flooded with natural light. “The newer, brighter and larger space allows for increased teamwork and collaboration among primary and specialty physicians,” says Michael Notte, MD, who practices with St. Clair Medical Group Internal Medicine, “which results in enhanced care and a better patient experience.” Instead of shuffling around to visit physicians at different facilities, patients can now receive a variety of high-quality health care services at this convenient access point. For example, if a patient visits their primary care physician for an annual check-up at the Multispecialty Suite and expresses a gynecological concern, there is an OB/GYN physician in the same space who can see them more quickly. “Close proximity with primary care physicians located within the same walls allows for easier consultation and referrals for the doctors. It also eliminates trips to other health care facilities for patients,” explains Paul Zubritzky, MD, who practices with St. Clair Medical Group OB/GYN. “This comprehensive approach to health care really is a win for everyone.” The Robinson Township Multispecialty Suite was designed with patient access and convenience in mind, so there is flexibility within the space that will allow St. Clair to expand and adapt services over time. “Of the new services we are planning for the office, an outpatient laboratory will be among the first. This means patients can get their lab draws in the same place, at same time, as their physician appointments,” Pittman says.
